Hey, I'm Yee Wei.👋

I built Zoonote because I was sick of always unlocking my phone and searching for the app every time I needed to do anything with my notes and todo lists. It got particularly bad when I was doing my grocery going down the shopping list. And I couldn't find a note app that wouldn't force me to unlock my phone just to create, view, or edit my stuff cuz yeah that would suck. Over time, I've built enough features that it's replaced Google Keep for me, and it's now the only note-taking app I use every day.

And I wanted this app to align with my values. In my personal life, I care a lot about user experience, doing the right thing, minimal footprint, honesty, justice, privacy, speed; and putting my passion into solving a unique problem within my means; user feedback based on their lived experience interacting with the app triumphs my personal opinion; always stressing myself out walking the tight rope between form and function. And this app is a continuous testament to all those dynamics.
